La Award Season che ci condurrà alla cerimonia degli Oscar del 2 marzo 2025 è ufficialmente iniziata. Dopo Gotham Awards, New York Film Critics Circle Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, National Board of Review, European Film Awards, Golden Globe e candidature ai 97esimi Academy Awards, si appresta ad iniziare una manifestazione molto nota ed apprezzata dal pubblico statunitense. Nonostante infatti non sia particolarmente influente all’interno della stagione dei premi, è stato reso noto il programma completo del Sundance Film Festival, nato nel 1978 per mano della Utah Film Commission ma rielaborato e reso grandi a partire dal 1981 grazie a Robert Redford, che lo ha così denominato in memoria del personaggio di Sundance Kid da lui interpretato in Butch Cassidy di George Roy Hill.
